This Editor wants to provide a free, easy and comfortable writing experience.
Therefore we chose Perl, Scintilla and wxPerl, our binding to wxWidgets, to realize it.
Our goal is to make this software crossplatform, nonintrusive and interoperable.
To ensure a free reuse of the sources the Editor is released under GPL.

Known Bugs

• massive UTF problems in various functions (also in stylings)(fixed in 0.3.0.3)
• flickering while resizing the window

Bug Reports

Like anywhere else too, please make sure that the bug you found is yet unknown. So check the bug tracker and the list above and try also to update before you send a bug report, maybe it was already fixed. Your bug report is a great help to us, so we don't want you to have much work with it, but if you spend a little time to write to us, please describe specifically what you expect and what exacty is wrong, so we will have a better chance to help you. Please write down here which version you use and everything else important you know about the situation in which the bug occurs, so that we can reproduce and fix the bug. Suggestions how to fix it are welcome.

Feature Requests

If you have a suggestion for us, which is not noted in the planned features list or in the roadmap, write us a message here. If you rather like to talk with us about new features, start a new feature discussion. As long as there is enough time we prefer a feature discussion.

Patches

We don't use CVS yet, but please try to be up to date with our nightly versions, if you want to submit well testet patches here. As long as we don't use diff, please send the files or the lines you changed. In case you send only the lines, please add the number of the first line you changed and let the last line you send be known, so that we see what to delete. Thanks.
